Mongolia–Russia Commission Advances Trade and Economic-Corridor Agenda

The 27th Mongolia–Russia Intergovernmental Commission meeting concluded in Ulaanbaatar with a signed protocol, MONTSAME reported. The parties reviewed earlier decisions and discussed trade, investment, the interim Mongolia–Eurasian Economic Union trade agreement, and an update to the Mongolia–Russia–China Economic Corridor program. Additional documents covered land administration and sports cooperation. Officials also considered projects in industry, agriculture, health, tourism, science and regional cooperation. The protocol records agreed areas of work, while the timing and delivery of individual initiatives remain subject to further implementation decisions.

Mongolia and Russia signed the protocol of the 27th meeting of their Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Ulaanbaatar. MONTSAME reported that the meeting reviewed implementation of decisions from the previous session and considered the next stage of bilateral economic cooperation.

The agenda included trade and investment, implementation of the interim trade agreement between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union, and an update to the Mongolia–Russia–China Economic Corridor program. The sides also discussed industrial supplies, agriculture, health and epidemiology, tourism, science, culture, sports and regional forums. Separate cooperation documents covered land administration and a sports plan for 2026–2028. The protocol identifies priorities, but individual projects will require their own schedules and implementation arrangements.
