A Mongolian government delegation met Russian officials and representatives of Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Russian Railways at the Eastern Economic Forum. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said the talks produced operational understandings to raise gasoline supply from September and provide steadier winter-grade diesel from October.
The ministry also reported an agreement to resume aviation-fuel deliveries in September after supplies had been interrupted since May. Participants explored bringing orders from third countries through Vladivostok, the Trans-Siberian Railway and Naushki. These measures address near-term availability; lasting resilience will require diversified suppliers, enforceable contracts, adequate reserves, storage and reliable border logistics.
