Eighteen cooperation documents were signed during President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa’s state visit to Kazakhstan, Mongolia’s Presidential Office reported. The package spans government agencies, central banks, state-owned companies, academies, cities and civil-society organizations.
The agreements address trade diversification, customs procedures, finance and green finance, petroleum exploration and supply, mining, critical minerals, peaceful uses of nuclear energy, urban planning, renewable energy, research, culture, tourism and youth exchanges. Kazakhstan agreed to work toward stable long-term supplies of crude oil, gasoline and diesel, while Erdenes Mongol and Samruk-Kazyna set a framework for cooperation in mining, processing and corporate governance. These memoranda create legal and institutional channels; detailed financing and delivery terms remain to be developed.
