During the president’s Khovd visit, officials reported Erdeneburen hydropower construction at 40% completion. The presidency described a planned annual output of 360 million kWh and identified PowerChina as the contractor.
Capacity, production and commissioning figures are project targets, not current electricity supply. The plant is not yet operating.
