The cabinet approved lists for reorganising state-owned enterprises and identified 25 entities for merger or liquidation measures. It expects savings from combining overlapping administrative and service functions.
These are announced restructuring measures and anticipated efficiencies. Reducing entity numbers is not equivalent to reducing all state-owned assets by the same percentage, or to completed cash savings.
